DPF Cleaning If you own a diesel car then chances are you have a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). Any diesel engine can be object to soot build-up, especially those mainly driven around town or on short or low speed journeys. DPFs are designed to remove this soot as you drive, but over time they can stop working and clog up. To avoid expensive repairs or part exchanges and to keep your car running smoothly, we recommend a preventive action with XENUM products but if your DPF is already clogged up we have a cost effective solution of cleaning your DPF while being still installed in your car. Decarbonisation is the unique chemical removal of solid carbondeposits without complicated, expensive and dangerous mechanical procedures. These deposits are formed by the application of high temperatures to hydro-carbons or to combustion of fuel and over time decrease the overall efficiency of modern combustion engines.
